ABOUT ME
Managing the demands of daily life while making sense of where you have come from and where you're headed can feel overwhelming. I understand how difficult it can be to loosen the grip of anger, hurt, and worry, and how these emotions can create barriers to living a more fulfilling and connected life.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in the field of Child and Youth Care (CYC) and also worked as an artist and arts educator. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the many ways we express ourselves and make meaning of our experiences, which I thoughtfully integrate into my therapeutic work.
I deeply admire the courage it takes to seek change and move toward a more authentic, connected, and fulfilling life. My role is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your inner resources, cultivate self-compassion, and build deeper connections with others.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma Therapy and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR). Because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, we will work together to create a path forward that feels meaningful and sustainable.
